Synopsis:

Den nyblivna änkan Santosh ärver sin avlidna makes jobb som poliskonstapel i norra Indiens badlands. När en flickas kropp hittas mördad och våldtagen blir Santosh indragen i förundersökningen och får den karismatiska och feministiska polisinspektören Sharma som sin mentor.
